A clergyman at Calvinist church at Manchester. Sri Aurobindo and his brothers lived at his house at 84 Shakespeare-street from 1879 till 1884. Drewett taught Aurobindo Latin and history, Drewett's wife — French, geography, arithmetic.At 1884 Drewett emigrated at Australia and boys moved at London — to Drewett's mother. There brothers lived till 1887. This was time of greatest suffering and poverty. Old Mrs. Drewett was fervently Evangelical and she said she would not live with an atheist (Manmohan) as the house might fall down on her.
