Ниродбаран (17.11.1903-), садхак. Получил диплом медика в Великобритании, окончив Эдингбурский университет. О Шри Ауробиндо и Матери он впервые узнал от Дилипа Кумар Роя, встретившись с ним в Париже. В 1930 году он посетил Ашрам и встретился с Матерью. После этого он занимался врачебной практикой 2-3 года в Бирме. Работа не удовлетворяла его. 16 февраля 1933 он приезжает в Ашрам Шри Ауробиндо и становится врачом Ашрама. Занимался поэзией. Опубликовал сборники стихов "Соцветия солнца" и "50 стихотворений Ниродбарана" с исправлениями и комментариями Шри Ауробиндо. Вел с ним обширную переписку (около 4000 писем Шри Ауробиндо, адресованных Ниродбарану), опубликованную в отдельных томах. Один из четырех садхаков с медицинским образованием, ухаживавших за Шри Ауробиндо с ноября 1938, когда он сломал ногу. Позднее он публикует 4 тома "Бесед со Шри Ауробиндо" (10 декабря 1938-28 октября 1941) и книгу воспоминаний "12 лет со Шри Ауробиндо".
