Lived many years with the Mother. A chief of Department of physical education. Some named him as "Mother's bodyguard". When at last years she could not walk by herself, she moved to darshan leaning on his arm. He had an angular character. Narayan Prasad said that he was the most loved and most abhorred man in Ashram. At one of her greeting-card to Bhattacharya the Mother wrote: "To thee, chosen by my love when the time has come to begin my work at the most material level."
